Couldn’t agree more, the Tennents looks woeful and the tacky silver design is a bombscare

We need to stick with Nike – they’re the biggest sports brand in the world. That’s why you can see our strips in shops anywhere you go.

I think if tennents wasn’t on it… it would be our best strip.

Beats having the massive tacky TENNENTS through the middle. And at least a sponsor is hardly noticeable now. The thinner hoops and black? socks look great.

I like the new Celtic kit. Celtic FC had black socks from 1888 until 1899. This historic kit celebrates the club’s 125th anniversary and the black socks and narrow hoops are similar to the very early days of the hooped strip.

However Rangers have launched their new kit today also and the 5 stars above the badge are GONE ! Obviously this is because RFC fear having their tainted titles stripped and when liquidated, a newco Rangers will have no history.

Its good to know what Celtic will be wearing when they kick off the defence of their SPL league title at the same time as a Rangers newco begins life at the bottom of the Scottish 3rd division with no stars on the shirts and no stars inside the shirts either !

Now I see why rangers are wearing red socks next season ( if ) since when have Celtic ever wore a home top with black socks < just curious btw ?

Strip looks like a cheap t-shirt. Like one of the ones you can buy in the Irish bars in Santa Ponsa for a fiver. Socks were changed from black for a reason…ie. they look ridiculous in tandem with the rest of the strip! This would have been better with a smaller Tennents:

Knew Nike would muck up what should have been a special kit.

Don’t get how you can like the Celtic top and then say the Rangers top looks shite without it being based on hatred for the other team. The two designs are essentially similar, both use basic designs, both based on prior tops, both with a small Tennents sponsor and both showing a larger badge on the right. Only real difference is one is green and hooped (with Nike) and the other is all blue (with Umbro).

The reason the rangers one is similar is nike owns Umbro, I think its a belter but I will be buying the sponsorless version

I like the new strip, even if the black socks make me think of a sporting lisbon strip.

What worries me is that the new Rangers strip looks to be like one of those skin tight jerseys..huns are too fat for skin tight jerseys.. FACT

The new hoops top is quality proper Lisbon lions gear and with tenants being so small makes it look more classic Nike must stay as only the best wear it would u rather it was scabby umbro. Leave that for the poor clubs. Mm

Really don’t understand why people are being so bigoted on here! Both tops are similar apart from the hoops and blue! Even the tennants logo is in the exact same place! Says it all that if rangers go into the 3rd division, celtic are looking to join an English league. Wouldn’t work without the old firm.
Oh and just to clarify, the 5 stars are gone because it’s a replica of the 72 top! Idiots!

New Celtic kit looks great on that big girl samaras. What a cheap awful looking kit. The socks are a joke with it but who really cares anyway as there will be no TV games next year unless the Queens 11 are involved so have fun SPL you have all shot yourselves in the foot.

I hope we do go to the third division and give the smaller clubsthe money that may help them instead of feeding the Tarriers budgets
