After the release of the new Kaizer Chiefs home & away jerseys, here is a look at the home kit of the Chiefs’ bitter ABSA Premiership rivals Orlando Pirates. This new Orlando Pirates home jersey 2011/2012 will be worn Orlando Pirates FC in their home games at the Orlando Stadium during the 2011/2012 Premier League season. Orlando Pirates’ new jersey for 2011/12 has been made by Adidas. OPFC are the defending champions of the ABSA Premiership, having won it in the 2010/11 season.
The new Orlando Pirates jersey 11/12 was officially unveiled by kit makers Adidas on July 6, 2011 at 7pm local time. The Pirates’ new jersey is in their traditional colours of black and white with red trim, as can be seen in the picture of the shirt below. The Adidas stripes on the shoulders of the jerey are white in colour. Black shorts accompany the new Pirates jersey. Vodacom are the sponsors of the new Pirates strip.
