This is the new Blackburn kit 2017/18, Blackburn Rovers’ new home strip for the upcoming League One season. Made by Umbro, the new BRFC home top was officially unveiled on 14 June, 2017.
Rovers were relegated from the EFL Championship on the final day of the 2016/17 season, meaning that they will now play in the third tier of English football, just two decades after they won the Premier League title. They finished on the same number of points as Nottingham Forest, but the latter stayed up owing to their superior goal difference.
The new home kit features Umbro’s double diamonds on the sleeve and is a new take by the kit manufacturer on the club’s well known halves design.
The jersey features the Rovers wordmark on the back and is sponsored by Dafabet. White shorts and predominantly blue socks complete the look of the new Blackburn 17/18 strip, as can be seen in the pics below.
