This is the new Man City third kit 16/17, Manchester City FC’s new second alternate kit for select Champions League and domestic Cup games. Made by Nike, the new strip made its debut in the Citizens’ recent EFL Cup clash against Swansea City, which they won 2-1.
The uniform is a purple and orange number and is here seen modelled by new summer signing Leroy Sane, who arrived at the Etihad from German outfit Schalke 04
Similar to the club’s already released home and away shirts, ‘CITY’ is knitted into the back of the collar, while ‘EST. 1984’ is found on the cuffs.
Etihad Airways are again sponsors of this orange MCFC third shirt for 16/17, as can be seen in the pics below.
