These are the new Real Madrid kits 2016/2017, Spanish giants Real Madrid’s new home and away strips for the upcoming La Liga season. Made by Adidas, the new RMFC jerseys were officially unveiled on May 14, 2016. Real finished second in La Liga last season behind Barcelona and also clinched the Champions League under new manager Zinedine Zidane, beating crosstown rivals Atleti in the final
The home shirt sees the return of the collar, with the Adidas stripes on the side and blue trim on the sleeves. The away kit is an all-purple number from the Adidas stable, drawing inspiration from their past (Real’s first kit in 1902 had purple stripes). It features a white crew neck collar.
The club have also unveiled two goalkeeper jerseys- home in blue and the other yellow one the alternate.
Yawn. Another money making machine.
Same boring template again!
I should agree it’s boring, but I like it. Especially the purple away.
It seems that the purple away shorts don’t have the Adidas stripes running down them.
I prefer these simple, classic designs. Both of these kits look good.
