New Oxford United 2016/17 Away Kit | Starter OUFC Alternate Jersey 2016-2017

Days after unveiling their new home kit for the 2016/17 season, Oxford United have today (July 7, 2016) followed it up with the release of their new alternate strip that they will wear on their travels in League One next season. The Starter clothing made kit was launched at the ZSL London Zoo, with the likes of Skarz, Lundstram and McDonald present at the reveal.

The kit reverses the colours from the home kit, with navy as the primary colour and yellow on the sleeves. Yellow shorts and socks complete the look of the new OUFC away kit, which like the home one, features Liontrust on the front and Polythene UK on the back.

Starter was arguably the most popular sports brand in the USA through the 80’s and early 90’s, then fell off. Haven’t heard of them in a while.

Loved oxfords kits last season but hate this year’s home one, away is better but still nowhere near as good imo

Better than the home kit. Not keen though.

Certainly nicer than the home shirt. Didn’t ‘Starter’ make ice hockey/snow gear back in the day?

Much better than the home kit. The solid look works much better than the pencil stripes.

Could these strips look any more different in the two pics? Top pic looks a very nice deep blue colour, bottom pic looks a weird green
