This is the new Blackburn kit 2016/17, Blackburn Rovers’ new home strip for the upcoming Championship season. Made by Umbro, the new home shirt was officially revealed on July 4, 2016. Rovers have inked a five season deal with Umbro beginning 2016/17 to replace Nike, marking a return to the double diamond brand they last wore in 2013.
Like with all of Umbro’s releases this season, the kit features the co-ordinates (53.7286° N, 2.4892° W) of the club’s home ground Ewood Park inside the neck.
Rovers’ classic halves design (blue and white) has been retained in the home kit with the neck containing red and blue detailing. Dafabet will be principal shirt sponsors.
White shorts and predominantly blue socks complete the new Blackburn home strip for 2016/2017.

Maybe Man City should consider a return to Umbro too.
Aston Villa rip off!!! no wait..it’s just their old sponsor…
Nice kit from Umbro. Are you watching Nike?
take note nike, this is how you should make a kit
Are Umbro doing the latitude/longitude thing for everyone? Doesn’t feel as special now.
If I bought shirts from them for my village Sunday league side would they put the coordinates of the rec ground on them for me?
Incredibly happy with this shirt after a poor three years with Nike. Neat, simple amd classy. Welcome back home, Umbro!
I was a bit wary of Rovers going back to Umbro, But I need not be. this is really nice design. I will buy it.
Looks like a classic looking Blackburn Rovers kit. I really like this!
