New Puma Leicester City Away Shirt 2016/2017 | Foxes to wear red alternate kit

This is the new Leicester away kit 2016/17, Premier League champions Leicester City’s new alternate kit for the 16/17 season. Made by Puma, the new LCFC away strip was officially unveiled on May 30, 2016, a little over three weeks after the club had revealed their new 2016/17 home shirt

The Foxes will wear an all red strip on the road next season, with Puma incorporating a “glory” graphic into the jersey. They had a black away kit in the recently concluded 2015/16 Premier League season.

Both home and away tops will initially only be available to buy from the City Fanstore at the King Power Stadium in a move aimed at first fulfilling local demand, and will go on sale online only from August.

    Nice, I like the gradient of darker to lighter shades on the shirt. I don’t care that it’s red, either!

    Red’s a bit of a different choice, but what caught my eye is that they’re not selling online till August.

    That’s a big marketing opportunity missed you have to think, especially with the number of foreign fans now keen to get their hands on a jersey.

    The missed opportunity will be the inability to re-order, not the fact they’re ensuring local fans get the chance before those who have recently jumped aboard the bandwagon. They will sell out regardless.

    It’s a nice looking kit but red just doesn’t sit right with me. White or black next time please.

    Well clearly they will now need a third kit when they come to Selhurst Park.

    Looks great. The shading effect really works.

    I would not put Leicester City & a red away kit togther it is just not
    Leicester City looking to me yellow or gold would have looked better for me even if the kit it’s self is a template.

    @Albert

    Why? They had a red away kit the season before last.
