New Wigan Athletic Shirt 2016-17 | WAFC Kappa Home Kit 16-17

This is the new Wigan kit 2016/17, Wigan Athletic’s new home strip for the upcoming Championship season. Made by Kappa, the new Latics shirt was officially unveiled on 27 May, 2016 after a set of teasers in the lead up to the official launch. The club won the 2015/16 League One title, finishing two points ahead of Burton Albion to secure automatic promotion to the Championship

The shirt retains the Latics’ traditional blue and white stripes, with red trim on the neckline and the end of the sleeves.

Intersport remain principal shirt sponsors for the third season running.

    Great shirt, striped are generally pretty bland but these colours just jump out at you. Good effort, Wigan fans should be proud

    Pretty Good Effort, red piping matches the sponsor’s logo, but spoiled by double Kappa logo on shoulder, one on each side would be ample.

    Never been a fan of the high badge on Kappa shirts nor the logo plastering they do, but that aside, pretty nice looking.

    The logo should change color to blend with the home shirt colors, not the other way around.
    Wigan don’t play in red at home.
    The neck is wrong. Gives the overall look of cheap,
    Surprising because last season’s kit was far better.
