New Man Utd Away Kit 2016 17

New Manchester United Away Kit 2016-17 | Blue Man Utd Alternate Jersey 16-17

This is the new Manchester United away kit 16/17, MUFC’s new alternate strip for the upcoming Premier League season. Made by Adidas, the new Man Utd jersey was officially unveiled on 11 May, 2016 and marks the first time in the club’s history that the away kit has been released before the home one.

The shirt matches the leaked pic we had put up earlier this month. It’s predominantly blue with red accents, and will be paired with darker shorts and socks. Fans will get to see the players wear the kit first in United’s pre-season tour fixture against Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai (July 22, 2016)

Inside the neck, one can also spot “Red Devils” detailing. Blue has been worn by United in the past, most famously in their 2002/03 title winning season.

David de Gea will be wearing a green uniform under the sticks on the road during the 16/17 season.

Chevrolet remain principal shirt sponsors, as can be seen in the pic below, with the likes of Juan Mata, Luke Shaw and DdG seen modelling the kit.

Not very inspiring for a ‘major’ club such as United. You’d think adidas would really make an effort for one of their flagship clubs, this just looks tired and lazy. Just a glorified blue T-shirt. I would actually prefer that adidas replicate the classic blue speckled 1992 away kit, even just rerelease it!

Bad timing from the club to release the kit at a time when fans are baying for blood after the loss to West Ham. Leicester got their timing perfect and their strip is flying off the shelves.

Back to the kit, gives off a training top vibe. Nice socks though.

Wow, I didn’t think this would have actually been the kit when I saw the leaked pictures.

This would work well as a plain casual or gym top, not so much as a soccer shirt.

design is refreshing. a breakaway from past jerseys. It will go along well with new manager arrival next season – signifying a brand new start after the recent two dreadful and forgettable seasons.

hilarious, looks like one of those pretend replica kits you find on a market stall !

    It’s not April 1st is it ??

Colours don’t work at all. Looks like someone patched badges onto an Asda t-shirt. UGLY!

“Most famously in their 2002/03 title winning season”? They wore blue in the 68 Champions League final, it’s why they keep going back to it!
