New Olympique Marseille Kits 2016-17 | Adidas OM Home & Alternate Jerseys 16-17

These are the new Marseille shirts 2016/17, Olympique Marseille’s new home, away & third tops for the upcoming Ligue 1 season. The new OM 16/17 kits have been made by Adidas and were officially unveiled on May 4, 2016.

Marseille had a tumultuous 2015/16 season, barely escaping relegation- a far cry from their 2014/15 performance when they finished fourth, just two points off a Champions League spot. Their owner has also now put up the club for sale after protests from fans.

The new OM home shirt features a chest graphic inspired by the city of Marseille, while the alternate jersey is dark blue with silver applications. Inter Sport remain principal sponsors of both home and away L’OM jerseys, while Mutuelles du Soleil will appear on the front of the third/Cup kit, as can be seen in the pics below.

The club’s new third takes inspiration from Argentina. The two have a lot in common- their original colours, passion of the fans and more recently, Marcelo Bielsa

I think in terms of consistency of club and brand over the past 10 plus years, I think it has to be Marseille and adidas who have done it again with this seasons kits the home one is brilliant but the inter sport ruins it

The alternative as an argentinean feel to it. Nonetheless, I’d give a solid 8.5 out of 10 for the overall work on the three kits.

The away kit is almost identical to the new Chelsea kit!

    Blatant template effort
