These are the new England Euro 2016 kits, England’s uniforms for Euro 2016 and other international games in the 2016/17 season. Made by Nike, the new England strips were officially unveiled on 17 March, 2016 and use the sportswear giant’s AeroSwift technology

The new England home jersey for 16/17 features a white body with contrasting light blue sleeves. The words “Three” and “Lions” adorn the inside of the cuffs, with the England wordmark appearing on the back of the jersey. The reverse of the crest features a rose graphic, a throwback to the 19th century when the symbol was embroidered onto caps.

Nike have created a geometric pattern on the front by using engineered knit zones to enhance fit

The kit features a blue stripe running through the sides, white shorts and red socks, aimed as a tribute to the England side that beat Brazil at the Maracana in the 80’s.

The red away shirt celebrates the 50th anniversary of England’s 1966 World Cup triumph. It features contrasting purple sleeves, obtained by cross dyeing the red on the front with the blue used elsewhere in the jersey. Red shorts and blue socks complete the new look of England’s new Euro 2016 away strip.

The likes of Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney and Raheem Sterling are here seen modelling England’s new 2016/2017 shirts.

England are in Group B for the Championships alongside Wales, Russia and Slovakia. They qualified with a 100% record, winning all ten of their games.

Honestly, the Nike logo and stripe down the side give it a US feel, as well as a similar template. Nike logo on socks seems unnecessary. Not a bad kit overall, but just doesn’t feel like a proper England kit to me.

    Rubbish.

White shirt, navy shorts, white socks, red numbers. How hard can it be?

I seen better pictures of this in the paper this morning The home kit that is & it looks like one of the better Nike national team kits makes me think a bit of the England home kit in the qualifying campaign for the 1998 World Cup. But that kit was better.

I cringed a little when I saw the red socks on the home kit…

Who got drunk and what were they drinking when they designed the joke home kit?

Red socks to honour the fact that 30 odd years ago England played a game and wore contrast socks because of black and white TV’s in Brazil being prominent – there’s also a feel like somebody forgot socks for the photo shoot and forgot to take photos from the knee up

The away kit isn’t as offensive but it’s not a nod to the 66 design it’s s red kit. (Look beyond the fact it’s also like for like identical to the England Rugby away kit)

Pity for the kids of today who won’t have tradition for the sake of a kit designers need to cross bleed dyes
