New Man Utd Ladies Shirt 2015-16- Is the criticism warranted?

Manchester United have come under a barrage of criticism after several female fans felt that the neckline of their new Adidas Ladies jersey showed more cleavage than required.

Here are photos showing the new Man Utd Womens’ jersey 2015/16 (actually worn by a person), and the old Nike MUFC ladies Shirt. Also shown are the new 2015/2016 season ladies’ jerseys for Chelsea and Bayern Munich, both clubs outfitted by Adidas, like Man United.

Are Man Utd being sexist? Or is this a case of much ado about nothing? You decide!

I think all Adidas clubs will switch to the Man Utd design next season!

Judging by these photos, looks like somebody at Man Utd specifically asked for these lowcut designs.

Chelsea & Bayern both have womens teams, Manchester United do not.

    This is the big difference.

Chelsea and Bayern have it spot on. It still befuddles me how a club of the size and influence of Manchester United still doesn’t have a womens team

    I like it 😛

Seriously though, Why can’t they have normal looking neckline such as on the Men’s shirts?

Its only different because of the fact that the united mens top is v-neck whereas chelsea and bayern have roundnecked shirts, so the womens design will be different. women’s kits always seem to have rather large necks anyway.

Lol I understand that some female supporters prefer a shirt that’s more feminine, but this Utd shirt is taking the mick a bit with the plunging neckline!
