New Man City Away Kit 2015-2016- Nike Blue Moon Manchester City Jersey

This is the new Man City away jersey 2015/16, Manchester City’s alternate kit for the new Premier League season. Made by Nike, the strip was officially unveiled on July 24, 2015 and made its debut in City’s International Champions Cup game against Real Madrid in Melbourne, a fixture which they lost 4-1.

The new away kit pays tribute to the club’s famous anthem “Blue Moon” and features a print of the moon at night on both sleeves.

The shirt is predominantly dark navy blue, with electric blue detailing in the form of the trim around the back of the crew collar and the stripes running down both flanks. The shirt is paired with navy shorts and socks with electric blue trim, as can be seen in the pics below.

The alternate goalkeeper strip will be yellow.

Nice kit and an uncharacteristically original design feature from Nike, but as another user pointed out (quite rightly too) a few weeks ago when the leaks came out, the Moon print looks like errant anti-perspirant spray

True, one of those kits that looks really good when you get a closeup shot.

Oh yeah I like the neon it looks nice with the dark blue. Just one thing, why does man city always have both blue or purple away or home? I mean blue and dark blue aren’t much different.
