Blue Partick Thistle Away Top 2015/16- Joma PTFC Alternate Strip 15-16 SPL

This is the new PTFC away kit 2015/16, Partick Thistle FC’s new alternate strip for the new Scottish Premier League season. Made by Spanish firm Joma, Thistle’s new change uniform was officially unveiled on July 20, 2015.

The new away shirt is sky blue, with six pairs of thin white horizontal stripes on the front. There is also a hint of white on the neck, and the strip is completed by sky blue shorts and socks. The goalie strip is pink.

The likes of David Amoo, Stuart Bannigan, Ryan Scully, Frederic Frans and new signing Gary Miller are here seen modelling Thistle’s new away strip for 2015/16.

Like the already released home kit, the away one also features the controversial Kingsley mascot logo, which hasn’t been received very well by many Jags supporters, with one comparing it to a “Simpsons character in torment” on social media. The ARR Craib logo can be seen on the shorts with the Alarmfast logo on the back of the shirt.

Last season’s away shirt was predominantly black with pink panels, paired with white shorts and pink socks.

For a kit that features a drunk drawing of Lisa Simpson/that monobrow lassie from Hey Arnold, it’s sorta nice

The first thing I notice is the sponsor. Stands out too much, can’t appreciate the shirt.

That’s a nice enough looking away kit for Thistle. That sponsor though…
