New Kaizer Chiefs Jersey 2015-16 Kaizer Chiefs Kit 2015-2016 Home

This is the new Kaizer Chiefs home kit 15/16, South African PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs’ new principal jersey for the upcoming 2015/16 season. Made by Nike, the kit was officially unveiled on July 13, 2015.

The Amakhosi, one of Africa’s most popular clubs, will be wearing a yellow and black striped primary shirt next season with yellow sleeves. The strip is paired with yellow shorts and socks and is sponsored by telecom giant Vodacom.

The Soweto based club won the 2014/15 edition of the PSL pretty comfortably, but parted ways with coach Stuart Baxter at the end of the season. They also terminated the contracts of key players Itumeleng Khune, Tefu Mashamaite and Mandla Masango.

Last season, the shirt contained very little black, with the Chiefs just opting for a single thick side stripe on a golden body. The shorts were however black, but this season the Chiefs will revert to yellow shorts.

nice and clean. very smart outfit.

didn’t Hull also have black shorts instead, last season? and isn’t their shade of orange much deeper than the KC’s marigold colour? we surely aren’t insinuating that this design is patented only to the english club, are we? i get miffed by these comparisons sometimes because it makes me imagine that people are suggesting that this is a ripoff, which i think is nonsensical. but i hope i’m just overreacting.

Nice… KC is going retro. Wore striped jerseys in 1993 and again in 1999. In 2012 they went for diagonal stripes(popularly known as Zebra Kit in SA).

    Pietie :

what, no Shakhtar Donetsk comparisons? what about Borussia Dortmund? and if we’re stretching it, couldn’t you say it looks a bit like Fenerbahce’s kit too? all of these are clubs that are leagues better than Hull, and much more notable.

Darn it, spent a good while trying find a way to dispute your last comment, but i must say though, it bares a slightly stronger resemblance to hulls 2013/2014 jersey as compared to the other mentioned clubs and yes, no offence to hull fans, they are leagues better.
