New Scunthorpe United Kit 2015/16- Avec Scunthorpe Shirts 15-16 Home Away

These are the new Scunthorpe United kits 15/16, Scunthorpe’s new home and away shirts for the upcoming Football League One season. Made by Avec Sport, the new Scunthorpe uniforms were officially unveiled on July 6, 2015 by the Iron.

The Iron had earned promotion from League Two to League One in 2014/15, and managed to stay in the third tier by finishing 16th

Scunthorpe were involved in the longest penalty shootout in FA Cup history in the 2014/15 season, with their game against Worcester seeing 32 penalties being taken before the Iron prevailed over their non league opponents.

The new home shirt features claret and sky blue stripes on both the front and the rear. It has a white v-neck, with the same colour appearing on the cuffs as well. The strip is completed by claret shorts and sky blue socks.

The away shirt is predominantly yellow with navy trim, and is paired with navy shorts and yellow socks.

Makes me wonder why justsport persist with Nike when they can manufacture a half decent kit like this.

Very good from Avec again from a Barnsley fan who used Avec after ditching Nike last session.

Although that away kit looks similar to ours last season.

Pretty decent kits if nothing spectacular. Good to see them support a very worthy cause.

So that’s what that logo means! I’ve seen managers wearing badges with it on their jackets in interviews and couldn’t fathom what it was.
