New Linfield Away Kit 2015-16 Orange Linfield FC Jersey 2015-2016

This is the new Linfield away shirt 15/16, Northern Irish side Linfield FC’s alternate strip for the upcoming season. Made by Nike, the new Linfield away shirt was officially unveiled on June 27, 2015.

Linfield finished second behind Crusaders in the 2014-15 NIFL Premiership (sponsored by Danske Bank) season and thus earned a spot in the qualifying rounds of the Europa League.

If you’re a fan of really, really (yes there’s a need for the extra really!) minimalist shirts, then you might like the new Linfield away top. It’s an all orange strip from Nike, but there doesn’t seem to be too much effort put into the design of the uniform. Black Nike Swoosh and Linfield club badge added, as the pics below show us.

This orange kit, for those interested, will go on sale on Wednesday, a day before Warren Feeney’s men have their Europa League qualifying clash with Faroe Islands club NSI Runavik. It is the third straight season where the Blues have faced a Faroes outfit in European competition, having played Torshavn last season and in 2012/13, and Fuglafjorour in the 2013/14 season.

The likes of Chris Hegarty, Andy Waterworth, Aaron Burns and Sean Ward are here seen modelling this orange away Linfield FC shirt.

Atleast they didn’t put the Nike logo out in orange too… how does the board and Nike expect supporters to fork £££ for such a plain strip.

Wow, have Linfield ever worn orange before? For a famously Protestant club you might think this choice of away kit is just a little bit devisive.

Looks more like Dundee United than Linfield what a masive con job from Nike this is and I thought the new Glens home top was bad but it is not that bad conpared to this Linfield away kit.

The embroidering around the crest is purple. An orange and purple kit, yeah. Did anyone say things had changed at Windsor Park, or does anyone believe this is a random choice of colours?

And even without discussing bigotry, this is a painfully plain kit. Ugly.

Linfield wore Orange and Blue before. I think it was back in 2010 but I don’t think they have ever had an all Orange away kit until now
