This is the new Cardiff home kit 2015/16, Cardiff City’s new home strip for the upcoming Championship season. The Bluebirds will finally start a season in blue for the first time since 2011, and their new Adidas made strip was officially unveiled on 19 June, 2015.
While the fact that it is blue will be well received by Cardiff fans, the news that it is a stock design might not be. This essentially appears to be the Adidas Campeon 15 jersey template with the Cardiff badge and Visit Malaysia sponsorship. Halifax Town, who play in the humble Conference (the fifth tier of English football, below the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two), will be wearing the exact same kit next season.
The likes of Joe Ralls, Bruno Ecuele Manga, David Marshall, Anthony Pilkington and Aron Gunnarsson are here seen modelling the new CCFC Adidas home top.
The goalie top is yellow in colour. The players’ shirt will be paired with blue shorts. An away kit is expected to be announced in due course by the club.
Cardiff finished 11th in the Championship in the recently concluded 2014/15 season.
a solid first step toward the recovery of some much-needed pride for Cardiff City. their fans will be elated to see their blue strip reinstated.
That’s better.
I love that Adidas template.
perfect. just perfect
Are you Halifax Town in disguise ?
That template is actually growing on me. Nice to see Cardiff back in proper blue again
white shorts and yellow adidas logo would have made their fans happier. The fact it is blue is a delight even to non-fans of Cardiff, but it’s too Halifax.
Nice to see Cardiff back in blue.
While I’d normally rant about templates, it’s just good to see Cardiff back in blue, so will let it slide.
Quite sure the sales for this season will outstrip those of all the previous red ones put together.
don’t like it but at least its blue Cardiff fans will be happy
Cardiff kit = Halifax kit. They’re pretty much the same thing.
Yes….fantastic to see Cardiff back in blue…template or not.
Good to.see Cardiff City back in royal blue at lest. Shame about the kit.
Same as Halifax town shirt!!! Go on Cardiff!!!!!!
