New Saints Kit 2015-16 Adidas Southampton Home Shirt 15-16

This is the new Southampton kit 15/16, Southampton FC’s new home shirt for the upcoming 2015/2016 Premier League season. Made by Adidas, the new Saints strip was officially unveiled on May 15, 2015 ahead of the club’s game against Aston Villa

Saints went in with a bespoke kit for the 2014/15 season which was a great hit with fans and pundits alike, but have chosen to go with Adidas for the 2015/16 season. Goalie strip will be blue while Veho remain sponsors.

Buy the new Southampton shirt online at UK retailers JD Sports

What a disappointment from the current shirt.

This one is a dead ringer for an old Stoke shirt (when they were with Adidas). Only the Veho and Saints badge make it a Southampton kit.

The white applications should have been black, because that is disappointing. Should have just permanently dropped adidas, did well by themselves last year 6/10

This is the new Southampton, Sunderland and Brentford home shirt for next season. They’ll all look identical to each other.

Agreed, but they’ll get much more money through adidas

Based on what? Can you back that up with sources? Fans either buy or don’t buy their team replica shirts for all manner of reasons, but I’d be interested to know if certain brands outsold others.

the comments on here are f’king stupid. Put adidas branding on the 14/15 shirt and it will look pretty much identical to this. Were any of you saying it looks like a Stoke/Sunderland kit when it was released? No, but put an adidas badge on something very similar and it is.

Would beg to disagree with that.

The 14/15 design looks bespoke, merely fobbing off Adidas branding on it wouldn’t take away anything from the uniqueness of it.

This design, well, is no different from the others.

It’s not Adidas’ fault that Stoke/Sunderland/Southampton have similar colours, but it is certainly their fault if people can’t distinguish between Adidas kits for the three clubs in the absence of a club crest.
