West Ham United have ended their two season long association with Adidas after announcing that Umbro will be their new kit suppliers beginning 2015/16. The West Ham Umbro shirt deal is for a period of five years and sees the Hammers return to the diamond brand after a gap of five years. Umbro last produced kits for the Hammers back in the 2009-10 season, after which they opted to switch to Macron

The announcement of the deal was officially announced by West Ham on 30th April, 2015.

Umbro will also add PSV to their portfolio beginning 2015/16, and already have deals with Derby County, Hull and Everton in England.

It is especially fitting that – during our final season at the Boleyn Ground – our players and fans will wear a brand synonymous with one of the finest moments in West Ham’s rich history: England’s 1966 World Cup triumph.

Adidas I thought did a fine job with this season’s home kit. Tough act for Umbro to follow.

West Ham’s kits this season were fantastic. I just can’t see Umbro coming close, though they have been improving greatly over the past couple of years.
