New Balance to replace Nike as Celtic kit suppliers from 2015/16

Celtic have today confirmed that New Balance will be their official kit partners from the 2015/16 season. The Hoops were with Nike for almost a decade, and had a deal valued at £5m/season with the sportswear giant. The value of the Celtic NB deal has not been revealed, with Celtic’s press conference stating that it was a five year deal, and the “biggest” in the club’s history.

The Celtic NB deal means that they join Liverpool, Porto, Sevilla and Stoke in the list of other notable clubs to be outfitted by New Balance

    Celtic joining the hipster gang!

NB haven’t really impressed me, and it’s probably a reflection on the poor response their designs as Warrior have got that they’ve decided to rebrand it to NB.

I don’t think this matters, Celtic notoriously block their kit suppliers from doing anything too drastic to their home kit. White with green hoops. It won’t be any great departure. The away kit is where designers go bonkers.

Not sure why people get hung up on brands, Nike are capable of churning out overpriced cheaply made crap just as much as the next lot.
