New Real Salt Lake Away Jersey 2015- Adidas RSL Alternate/Secondary Kit 2015

This is the new Real Salt Lake secondary kit 2015, RSL’s new away jersey for the 2015 Major League Soccer season. Made by Adidas, the new RSL alternate strip was officially unveiled on March 1, 2015.

The new RSL away shirt is again predominantly white, but has blue on both shoulders unlike the 2014 version, which had blue only on one side.

“The Team is the Star” can be seen inscribed in the back of the neck, while the back of the shirt also showcases a 3D lion’s head, as can be seen in the pics below. As with all MLS jerseys, two versions- authentic and replica, are available for the public to choose from.

    The lion logo looks great! The kit is not bad either.

    Can’t take seriously a club in the English-speaking world that calls itself Real.

    What about a club in the Spanish-speaking world that calls itself Athletic, or a club in the Portuguese-speaking world that calls itself Sporting?

    They were generally set up by English enthusiasts abroad. Don’t think there were a great deal of Spaniards involved in founding Real Salt Lake.

    I know that. Maybe Real Salt Lake were set up by Real Madrid enthusiasts. Everything from football club names to team colours have been borrowed from older, traditional clubs for the past 100 years. The list is long. It’s nothing new.

    Whatever. Most clubs are named after a place, not another (better) club. Hence I can’t take them seriously: they were founded a fortnight ago and borrowed another club’s name. Although in their favour they’re not named after an energy drink.

    why don’t they rename it ‘SL Royals’? i never like MLS clubs trying to be european

    TFC -> Toronto Reds
    Sporting KC -> KC Athletics
    FC Dallas -> Dallas Rednecks (LOL JK, dallas burn is better)

    Like the socks, the rest is ok. Photographer should have requested an iron for those shorts before shooting.
