This is the new Millwall away kit 2015/16, Milwall FC’s new alternate shirt for the upcoming 15/16 season. Made by Macron, the design of the shirt was officially unveiled on 19th October, 2014 by the Lions.

Millwall asked their fans to vote in an online poll, in which option 2 (plain white shirt with vertical blue stripe) was chosen, meaning that Ian Holloway’s charges will wear that on their travels next season. Other options included a fully pink one, and a half white half orange one, amongst others.

There were rumours of fans from other clubs purposely voting for the pink, but Millwall said they “had validated only those votes cast by Millwall supporters to produce the result“.

Edit 11 May, 2015 Updated with a pic of the kit being actually worn in the flesh. Not an official one, but looks the real deal.

How did they determine which votes were cast by Millwall supporters? 😀

Pink or the half orange would’ve been fun. Sure West Ham supporters would’ve tried their best.

Now that is how a football kit should look.

Reminds me of some of the kits clubs had in the 90’s.

Other clubs should sit up take notice.
